Its out there, but its a total dissapointment and waste of time, might aswell stick to Plesk 2.0 :D

Php only upgraded to php 4.1.0, not 4.1.2
Apache only upgraded to apache-1.3.22 and not apache-1.3.23

Whats the point of releasing this, when the security vunrelabilities are still there.

I'm not sure if they have upgraded openssh to v3 from 2.9

The above are major vunrelabilities this should have been Plesk's priority to fix first :confused:

I have not yet installed PSA 2.5, but I believe the php version may be either incorrect, or a patched version. They were aware of the security hole, and delayed the release of 2.5 to test with the latest patched php.

I'm not quite sure why people were getting so excited about this release, as plesk made it quite clear that this was primarily a software update release. The only new functionality was support for FP2002, & RH7.2.

ASP is not a new feature, just a package upgrade, along with the 20 or so other updates.

Not only did they not upgrade the PHP package, there is no easy way to upgrade from 2.0.1 to 2.5! The way I read it, you have to use the backup utility to back up the sites, reformat the server and install 2.5 on to the "clean" server, then use the backup utility to move the sites back on to the server. Is this correct or am I missing something?

Not quite.
Use the backup util to backup your config. Install PSA 2.5, then restore the backup.

Why is everybody saying that it now supports RedHat 7.2? It worked fine for me before on 7.2 with the previous version(s)

It did run, but there's a difference between supporting and being compatable.

Does the 2.0 license support 2.5 release?

Yes, unless you need the language pack, in which case you need to get a special key.
