Hi everyone,
I'm receiving this message when sending mail to excite email address.
(reason: 554 Client host rejected: There is a problem with your email system. Please contact your administrator - forward and reverse DNS must match for your host, [xxx.xxx.xx.xx])
I changed the host name and IP address of the machine yesterday. I assumed that the root of the problem, was the fact that the records for the domain had not had time to resolve. So, I moved the machine back to the old IP and host name. The problem is still there.
NS Record:
domain.com xxx.xxx.xx.xx
www.domain.com xxx.xxx.xx.xx
xxx.xxx.xx.xx/24 domain.com
xxx.xxx.xx.xx/24 www.domain.com
domain.com mail is sent to the High priority mail server www.domain.com
The setup seems exactly the same as before I changed the machines details and the problem occurred. I'm stuck in a groove and would be grateful if someone could point me in the right direction. :(
Thanks. :D
