I saw someone mention a host that was pretty cheap that was pretty good interms of reliablity and speed and it was only $4.95 a month, and they give u a free domain name too if you sign up. Its something like 6gig traffic per month, something around there and under 100megs of space. Cany anyone help me out and remind me the name of the host provider? THanks

It wasn't How Myacen.com but I kinda like that too. I have one question though, they mentioned that it costs 2 dolalrs more amonth for a static ip, that means to point a domain name to that host, I have to pay another 2 dollars amonth?

I don't see why the IP wouldn't be static to begin with. However they probably mean a dedicated IP. If you don't know why you would need it, you don't ;)

Hmm, well, that description sounds almost like www.your-site.com - 50 megs space, 6 GB transfer, $5/month.

A friend of mine is using that right now, and it's pretty reliable, but she has complained about the shoddy customer support. Apparently, she was approaching the 6 GB transfer limit and no one bothered notifying her. Now she's trying to e-mail them to ask some questions about the account, but it's taking them forever to respond. In fact, I'm still not sure if they've responded to her at all.
