I was just wondering if PerlDesk is an open source. I want to know this because I want to add something to it. What you ask? I want to make it so when a new user signs up they pick which server they are on (ex: server1) so this will make it easier to fix problems quickly. I will only be using it for personal use.

Questions could easily be answered at PearlDesk Forums (http://www.perldesk.com/board).

From the admin control panel of perldesk, you can add additional field for your "server name"

Well, perldesk is opensource in a sense that its source is available for you to see. But I don't think it fits into opensource definition on opensource.org, i.e. you may not redistribute it without permission.
