Pascal Marq 03-11-2002, 07:52 PM They do not use Cogent. There connection comes through Sprint, AT&T, and MCI/WorldCom. Chicken 03-11-2002, 07:59 PM As for what they use, you might want to check their web site for that info and/or send a sales email. Chicken 03-11-2002, 08:42 PM Well your comments (while they could be useful in helping this person) aren't all that useful without explaining exactly what you personally didn't like about the service. Coran 03-12-2002, 03:14 AM Ok Chicken, How about some detail? We had a Burst server for around 4 months and the performance and support were both less than I would expect from a bunch of mill workers trying to support a Win 3.11 box. In short: Overloaded and shy of People Skills. In my world, these are the two deadly sins. I spent months on this board defending Burst. Search on my previous posts. I gave Sean & Co. every chance in the book and they LET US DOWN. It took four tries to cancel the f***ing box for God sakes. Sh*t service is Sh*t service. If you can't handle it, Don't I have every email, and every failed cancel attempt, with Burst backed up. Sorry, Sean. You blew it, Buddy. Bogdan 03-12-2002, 12:57 PM We have been using Burst.net for about 3-4 months now, and we are satisfied with their service so far. They do not use cogent, you can read about their network on their web site. Don't know why you guys flame them. <<MOD NOTE: User didn't want to substantiate the post, it has been removed>> |
