Hi everyone.

What would be the best way to go about setting up secure credit card transations for a hosting service?

Is Verisign worth it?
Cybersource?

And how do you guys deal with taxing?

Much Thanks,
Andrew

I recommend GeoTrust for a quick SSL certificate. If you'd like a better certificate (cheaper too), but go through a more streneuous process, try SSL4Less.

I just purchased a certificate from SSL4Less and am extremely happy with the process. Just to clarify:

1. A certificate from SSL4Less is not better. It is the SAME as the certificate that you would purchase from GeoTrust directly if you choose the eBusinessID certificate.

2. The process is no more strenuous. I was contacted directly by GeoTrust for my company details so the process should be almost exactly the same. The only difference is that I sent the initial information to SSL4Less. However, this is contact information and a certificate signing request which I'm sure GeoTrust would have asked for as well.

I hope this clarifies things a little.

Sorry if I wasn't clear, but I was comparing SSL4Less's package with GeoTrust's QuickSSL. ;)
