If i register a domain like dream-weaver.com will the dash affect my rankings in search engines or does the dash make the domain less valuable.

For an example.
I can get dreamweaver.net or dream-weaver.com which domain would you register, im guessing most of you will say the .net name but i wanted a second opinion. :D

Get both, $10 a yr - no reason to take a chance for a paltry 10 bucks - and our experience is it does not matter.

I would make sure your domain won't violate any trademarks, for instance Macromedia, produces a product called Dreamweaver.

nope dashes don't seem to effect search engines... i have 3 domains with dashs and they together are indexed and ranked in every search engine with around 400 - 800 visitors/day
