Trying to change the DNS for a client. They supplied me with their account ID and their password to help them move the account... After entering my nameservers into the form, NetSol gives this error
Host name invalid. Host must be associated with the domains you own

Anybody familiar with what's going on?
The name servers are registered correctly with dotster and work everywhere else, except at netsol now!

Help appreciated.

I'd suggest a polite note to hostmaster@networksolutions.com

From what you're saying, there might be a recording error, or you may be crashing into very recently made changes in other records.

NetSol is a pain in the ass in general, though. You might want to have a look at places like 000Domains.com

You know you have to pay 5% more each year for your .tv's? :)

Here's more crap from their TOS: :)

"you shall not publicly offer, advertise, or otherwise make available the delegation of subdomains from the Domain Name; and "

must of missed that second part.. subdomain delegation restriction i suppose is targeted to those trying to setup shop as subdomain providers like netregistry.au.com is doing with http://www.au.com i.e. subdomain.au.com

anyway i registered the .tv domains for business related stuff in the future - two nice 5 letter domains :)

Back to the original post, if you go to:
http://networksolutions.com/cgi-bin/whois/whois

and type in 'host ns1.nameserver.com' what do you get? (If anything?)

Chicken, NetSol says:
No match for host "NS2.SPIDERSAID.COM".

However, nsiregistry.com has the correct info!
http://www.nsiregistry.com/cgi-bin/whois?whois_nic=ns2.spidersaid.com&type=nameserver

What gives? Do I have to re-register the namseservers explicitly with NetSol?

Help is greatly appreciated

You should submit your nameserv/IP combination to netsol for nameservers as well, even though you didn't register there.
