Hi All,

I have a lot of customers who are asking the same questions over and over again. You might experience the same ;-(
Now I want to set up an mysql/php based faq.

Do you guys have experience with that? Which one are good ones and free and easy to maintain. Are there any other things I should be aware of before lauching a faq on our website ??

Thanks ! Robbert :)

Customers will still ask you the same questions over and over again.

EasyFAQ is good, also, Marty built one, for tlcscripts - or some name like that :) Which is very good.

That's so true... it's human nature... just too lazy too browse forums or FAQs first...

They are indeed however but when we have a faq online we can easily send them there. And furthermore we consider it a service for our "reading"customers that they can find and print the info they are looking for.

In developing a faq list, you are also basically developing a user manual (if you do it well). And, it also means you have the answers right at your fingertips, rather than having to re-compose them.

So, even if the customers do not fully utilize it, there is benefit to you. Much easier, when for the 20,000th time you get asked, "How do I set up my email in Outlook Express?" to just cut and paste the explanation.

For a simple FAQ, I like odfaq from www.oodie.com

There are other solutions for more extensive user manual type stuff.

There should be a FAQ that respons to emails and searches for a question and then send the response from the faq. Its perfectly possible.
