Hi,

I won't always have access to the likes of outlook express .. Speacially when i go visit family they on have onmail (similar to webtv) .... So could anyone recommend a good email program for me?.

One i can put on the server not something like everyone.net or bigmailbox.

Pine works if you have telnet access. Once you get used to it, it's not that hard to use. 'Sides, when you use it, you don't have to worry about 90% of the email viruses out there.

Ahh, sorry, I've never used or actually seen someone use web tv. I'm not sure what to suggest then. Good luck with your search!

Most of the major web-based e-mails work okay on WebTV. HotMail, I think... and I believe so does EveryOne.net, which is a fairly decent service.

You might want to install a WebMail package then - search on HotScripts.com for a PHP or Perl-based POP3/IMAP4 program and let it interface with your mail.

A free service like Hotmail or Yahoo works great when you're on the road.

If you need access to a domain email server try a service like Webbox.
