I'm looking to start a web site where I'd want forums and news articles similar to /. (slashdot.org).

I'm wondering if there are any web hosting companies that allow slashcode to run (I believe it requires mod_perl) OR have something similar that IS allowed to run.

(other ideas for forum/news software would be welcome as well, I just think slashcode is good.)

I don't know enough about Slashcode to say whether we would work with it or not, so I'd be hard pressed to say if anyone else would either.
