They just had it on the news of all things, nothing much else must have happened today!

Looks good though. Hopefully the story is a little deeper like the first trilogy. The Phantom Menace was a little disappointing I thought (it was good, but could have been better), seemed to move too fast and skim the surface too much. I take it you liked it though, judging by the name :)

Did George Lucas direct Attack of the Clones or did someone else stand in?

Just answered my own question, it was George Lucas again. I thought someone else was directing it this time, like V and VI.

They have 3 or 4 trailers on starwars.com - looked decent, though thats what I thought about the last one (after seeing the trailer). I wasn't that impressed with the actual movie. Funny how the trailers of movies always look great... bahh.

I liked Episode 1 a bit, i tought it was funny and a decent movie overall .. but see, I am old enought to actually been at the movie theatre when IV V VI came out, and for me it's a whole different movie, I just try not to mix the two, I see the new episodes as a whole different story .. and different movies

(Otherwise they would SUCK indeed)

Now for the old classics .. nope you will never be able to beat it or even come close :)

Hmm, from what I've seen of the trailers, it actually doesn't seem all that interesting. In fact, it seemed like just another sappy romance story, except with cooler special effects or something.

Just saw the trailer last night on FOX. Although, I found the 1st one to be full of special effects and interesting, the 2nd one seems to be almost entirely the same. I'm hoping it's not full of the same exact type of special effects and similar story line.

I'm looking forward to seeing how annakin moves towards the dark side, although I hope that they leave the hour long pod race out of this one.

And Star Wars episode IV was just a stupid coming of age movie with cooler special effects :D.

I have been a star wars fan since i was 5 Years old! LOL they just came out then!

The first trilogy was a master piece i watch them over and over again! Mark Hamile was my idole! lol

The Phantom menace was alittle to kiddy i thought, you know i think it was the promotional aspects of it but, they had star wars everywhere for the kiddies to fall in love with it, so obviously they new the movie would target this area!

Because it had Star Wars as the title and the opening Screen had the scrolling text and music i still loved it but! Gets me pumped up every time LOL.

The new one should be good too! I should see it real real soon probably, give me a couple of days ! ;)

Well, we did the 12:00am showing of the lastest one, and I'll say it was pretty damn cool to hear the music at the opening (at 12am anything might be cool). I may have not liked it due to me being overly tired.

I'm sorry, 'Attack of the Clones'? :eek:

Could they not have come up with something better than that.
