I just transffering from reselling to my server and I don't know What am I looking for ?. I see different prices, but I'm not sure which one do I need to purchase. I just want to put it on one server with ten clients. does that mean one user or ten users. Do I have to report to microsoft everytime I have a new client?

Ooooh. Sorry, you don't want XP. Blech.. If your intent on Microsoft based, then go with Widows 200 Server.

No, you can add as many as you like.. You might want to signup as a reseller with a webhost, so you don't have to handle major server setup and administration..

Expect to pay quite a bit more than $33 for a GENUINE Windows 2000 Server License with a few client licenses....

Ok so that' what I'm asking. Where do I buy it and for which price ? I don't understand what's the difference between all the version, what I do know that Pricewatch offer $33 of liscence.

The $33.00 license is probably not for the server license, but probably some CALs.

Windows 2000 Server runs about $550.00 OEM and $799.99 Retail. Advanced Server is much more than that, but you do not need it unless you are running Clustering or Load Balancing.

There is no XP Server.

Hope that helps!

When purchasing software online, you should look into discount coupons. There are tons of sites dedicated to this, do a search on google and select a site from the sponsored links, better yet go to www.dealcut.com or fatwallet.com. Also try eBay
