sometimes paypal doesn't work for my customers, so i was wondering if anyone knows of an alternative free service that's similiar or the same as paypal. thanks in advance

2Checkout and RevEcom both charge a once off setup fee, but otherwise there are no monthly fees.

ProPay used to offer free setup, I'm not sure if this is the case anymore. At any rate, they have the lowest rates of the above.

I prefer 2Checkout, as they allow you to customize the headers and footers of your order pages.

I have looked and read informed etc etc.. the best i suggest if you have small amount of monies being processed per sales is 2checkout.

SOrry for who ever is using revecom but i have tried to sign up and there page was down for me! And the design is shocking...

I dont know maybe im just bias but 2checkout has pulled it of for me!

Of course this is not for free! Nothing is in this Word not even paypal, so unless anyone can tell me were i can get all this for free! im interested too ;)

With 2checkout, you cannot input your customers cc info on their behalf, which is a big drawback for me because I accept phone and trade show orders.

For this, there is HostCharge ($50 setup, http://www.hostcharge.com/) or ProPay ($35 setup, http://www.propay.com/)

Although Propay does NOT automatically rebill clients, it is okay to rebill clients monthly if they agree to it. So if you have a good billing program, Propay sould be considered, along with Hostcharge.

Also with ProPay, the per transaction fees are much less expensive, and the cards are billed with your email address and phone number.

2checkout.com is the best. They have great support and great service and is better then hostcharge because its automatic. :D

Since our service is being mentioned here, I'd like to clarify that, realtime billing support will be complete in a day or two.

And you should really mention that in your opinion 2checkout is better :)
