PHP Nuke is a CMS (Content Management System). It is free (I think?) and coded with PHP. The script is quite complex, so they have integrated an installer with it. Most webhosts that support PHP also have PHP Nuke available to customers. Just check in the 'Free Scripts' section.
It's basic use is to set up an online "community" where staff members of your business/organization can login and view new updates or announcements made my moderation and add/edit/delete the content of the site (thus hinting towards the Content Management part of the title). I ran this application on one of my web servers at one time, and I was disappointed with it. I have heard great things about it before, but my experience with it was not so much that. I guess it depends on what you are looking for in it. If you want Content Management, then it is for you, but if you are looking for other things, look elsewhere.

The script is free. Well its released under the GPL Open Source Lienece. There are alot better CMS's out there like Drupal or Typo3.
PHP Nuke is kind of set to on a 3 Column design and if your using it for a professinal site. It gives a bad impression.
Head over to Hotscripts.com theres loads of PHP Scripts there some are free, some are Open Source, Some cost hard earned cash :)
