I have a domain on one server and I want to create a subdomain on another server. I have Reseller accounts on both servers with WHM. I snooped around at the MX and DNS entries but I'm afraid to mess up. So, I pretty much want to add a different nameservers for one of my subdomains, how do I do that?

here's what I did when I was testing/playing: I used outsourced dns, and added the domain and the subdomain there. at the domain registrar, I updated the information to use the outsourced dns nameservers.

on one reseller I set up the base domain account, and on another reseller I added the subdomain exactly as if it was a base domain.

at the outsourced dns control panel, I pointed the base domain to its IP, and the subdomain to the other IP.
