Does anyone know of a helpdesk-like system where I can require users to pay a fee via paypal to submit tickets?
This is for something separate of hosting.

Just read a thread on the OSTicket(free open source support ticket script) about this here: http://osticket.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1022&highlight=pay 2) Pay for support access You can just setup a "members area" by locking, for example, your /support/ directory. Would be fairly easy to write a short php script which gives people a login/password once they pay via PayPal. (may be an open source script on hotscripts.com for this, not positive) CD Burnt 04-11-2005, 03:10 AM could a paypal buy-it-now button be used? smellybob 04-11-2005, 06:48 AM Hello, osTicket Does have mods how ever for something like this i suggesst you contact KipSys on the forums or send a email to the team here is the URL http://osticket.com/contact.php Yours Martin Dan L 04-11-2005, 05:28 PM osTicket looks interesting, but if I'm going to pay for an addon, I'd want something a bit more robust. CD Burnt, I could do that, but I don't feel like coding the script. :) iGabe 04-11-2005, 05:48 PM Originally posted by DanX osTicket looks interesting, but if I'm going to pay for an addon, I'd want something a bit more robust. I did quick searches on google using the following phrases: "pay-per-ticket", "pay-per-ticket support", and "pay per ticket support" An example result: Found a thread @ http://forum.hivemail.com/showthread.php?t=852 ...a quick look at their support system(click their link) and you can see they are using http://www.deskpro.com (look at copyright at bottom of page). This could be an option. Anyhow, happy searching :) Dan L 04-11-2005, 09:02 PM DeskPro looks like it may be what I want. I'll look into it more. $200/yr isn't too bad for pricing. |
