I have been trying to get ClientExec and DirectAdmin working for two days now.
Everytime I try to perform an action with the plugin, it sends a failure e-mail to me. Any ideas on how to get this working, or has ANYONE gotten this working?

Best bet would be to go to ce-talk.com and ask there.
I'm sure it is just a configuration issue.

Thanks for the reply! I have tried multiple sources of support, and I can't seem to find anything wrong. Are there any specific instructions or manuals to follow for DirectAdmin in order for it to work?

A failure occurred while adding user sldkfjlk! Please check to make sure the package exists on the server, the username is 4 to 8 characters long, and that the e-mail address and domain name are correctly formatted. Also make sure that the chosen IP address is available on the server and that the password doesn't contain any illegal characters.
That is the message I get via e-mail after the client has been activated inside ClientExec. What happens with this part of the process? If i broke it down into steps, I could probably find and alleviate the problem. Thanks.

Last I heard, ClientExec only works with cPanel so I got from the support ticket I created.

Did you create packages correctly within DA and are using the correct names on the CE side? Also, I think DA rejects usernames that have symbols in them.
