well, i'm thinking about the possibility to make money offering special services to podcasters. They probably are going to need a big amount of transfer for his shows, what do you think about?

leaving my mind go out ...

- a website for free publishing mp3 files where then i can put my ads
- one big podcast where people can put his contribution automatically
- easy publications systems
- perhaps a podcast network community

well, podcasting it's a new thing for my country (spain) and i 'm sure that in a few future there could be niche markets.

This could well be worth the effort, you would need an unmetered bandwidth server though, something like 20mbs to start off should be very decent [they seem to go around pretty inexpensive those days].

Niche markets have beenaround everywhere for ages :). The issue is usually finding them. But for the small or startup hosts it usually a good way to go.

With podcasting spreading quite nicely in the last few months if you provide a decent service being one of the first in your country you may do really well.

good luck!

I think that this would be a great market to enter. Do your research and do it right. Don't enter before you are ready. Best of Luck..

Just an FYI if you target actual radio stations. Many will not want to pay cash. Instead, they'd like to trade your product for commercial airtime on their station.

If you choose to target radio stations, you might want to contact an advertising agency to partner with. Just a thought...
