Just out of curiosity: if I had a 4-letter .com name to sell, one which is not a common abbreviation or a common word in any language, not a misspelling of a word, how much do you think it might be worth? I'm talking about a name like gude.com or zodi.com - but these are not actual examples.

TBH Not a lot more than reg fee. IF you develop it and it gets decent traffic then the site as a whole will be worth more. Domain on its own not much

Yeah, I was afraid of this. I just noticed a few 4-letter names that expired very recently and was thinking of registering one or two. But maybe the reason they let them expire was that nobody really wanted them.
