Anyone here gotten any junk mail from "Domain registry of america"

They sent me a letter trying to get me to transfer my domain from my current registrar to them for a $25.00 fee.

The letter was very well worded for screwing newbies over.

I've received a couple of them .... but they sent them as "Domain Registry of Canada"

Yep :)

They are good as well :) Technically wording it so that it could confuse people but not so it gets them into trouble with the authorities.

been discussed earlier at other threads, they are big time spammers and many ppl are trying to sue them.
