I know that ther was a post like this before but this one I need to know because I am going to buy a dedicated server soon and I need to know what Controll Panel to put on it.
This poll includes the admin and user perspective.

just curious to know why you would want to allow people to vote more than once? That is just asking for someone to spam the poll and skew the results.

It is just because some people have two best control pannels so therefore they dont have to decide between the two, so they can choose both.

I voted DirectAdmin and CPanel. I think CPanel is the best IMO but Directadmin isnt far off

Once again, people have forgot about my GPL hosting control panel. It's not even in the poll, that's too bad !

Some talks about skewing the results, forgetting some control panel is one of the best way to do it.

By the way, I'm sure there are not a lot of voters that tried ALL of those solutions, so the results will be skewed by the way. Like often, the result will be close to whan people use, because it's human nature to self convince it's doing right and did choose well.

By the way, I heard manytimes that H-Sphere is tge best commercial solution.

I voted for cPanel and I love it. But Plesk is getting there and isn't too far off.

well, I have used plesk, cpanel, and now hsphere, and I can say that I like hsphere alot. However, I was not displeased with plesk. hsphere is just alot more scaleable as we needed and offers billing and support integrated into the CP.

i would say cpanel because
1- your customers will find it easy to use
2- you can find fix's for it because its the mosted panel around
3- its makes manageing a server easy
4- best panel for resellers
that does not mean its the most secure panel or the best BUT as a web hoster its your best panel
and you can do many things to secure it
