I was talking to a client of mine that needed a nice article system, I suggested he look into vezine. Well now that he has decided to get it, they are down. For about 1 day now. Are any of you existing customers? Did you get an email about some maintenance, or are they gone?

I was a customer of theirs - checked out the demo and bought the software. When I had hold of the actual d/l it turned out not to be as sweet a deal as I first thought.

Then the awful support came . . . as in there was none - Andy L W whatever his face would not reply for weeks and then when he did it was very terse and almost to the point to say fek off to you!!!

You couldn't do as much to the product as advertised - it wasn't proper markup, the template system was constraining, you couldn't make head or tail of the PHP coding to hack properly - it was a shambles... and now they're gone! as far as I can tell... into the ether with a pile of peoples cash - cos they were still selling it and not supporting the new users right up till the point they disappeared.

Bollox to them anyway - because in the midst of the mess I started moving my development over to evo-dev articles - check it out. Better software by far... cheaper... the support is great... and you can hack away to your hearts content..... and no Andy L W twatt!!
