We are wanting to start offering reseller services, and we have a couple of customers who want reseller accounts with our company.

Well, I need to know how I should possibly do the pricing.

Should I offer a fee of something like $10 per month, and then charge $5 per each customer's domain that they setup on their account, or would I just give them X space, and X bandwidth, and charge a higher amount like $20 and then let them setup unlimited accounts for their base monthly fee?

I would like to know how other web hosts are doing it, and I would like some suggestions and feedback on this.

I need to find out ASAP, as I have a couple customers who need to be setup with a reseller account within the next 1-2 days.

Thanks for the feedback in advance! I appreciate your assistance and feedback. Also, please!! If you don't have anything good to say, and you are a negative person, please do not post here! Please keep your comments to yourself, and please only serious individuals, please post here. Thank you for your cooperation and feedback.

I'd just let your resellers all have unlimited features, unlimited accounts, and make their HD space to bandwidth ratio 1 to 10.

I think you would find it more common to give the reseller some space and bandwidth and let him distribute it as he wishes.

So, out of your choices, go with plan 2. :)

There are also hosts that give X space, Y data transfer and also limit the number of domains a reseller can host with his account (usually something like 1 domain per GB of transfer) and they're doing OK. I guess it's all about the business model and the target you're going after.
