Hey, I just installed a new cd burner in my Linux machine - although I can't mount it :(

When I try, I get this error:

mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/cdrom1 or too many mounted file systems.

any ideas?.. btw, it's a Pacific Digital 16x10x40 burner.

Ah, yes..I read something about that in a HOWTO document, but didn't fully understand it. I also searched on google, but could not find anything.

Does anybody know of a good resource for people that have no clue about drivers and stuff like that in Linux? :)
