Hey I'm looking for a basic tutorial on Visual C++. Just something to get started and understand the basic options. Tried to google it but can't find anything good, or I'm just stupid.
If anyone knows of a good Visual C++ tutorial for a beginner, replying with a link would be appreciated.

Well, I just wanted some general info just to get started.

If you have some background (e.g. php) , you can download the Thinking in C++ book from Bruce Eckel. The download page is there: http://64.78.49.204/
Be sure to select the volume 1.
The first few chapters are a good intro. And you can buy a hardcopy of that book later.

Also, you could do a search on planet-source-code.com under C++ for tutorials. You'll find everything from actual tutorials to well commented code snips that should get you started.
HTH and good luck,

local library may have books, or be able to get some from other libraries for you (inter-library loan)
