I've made a post in the request form but wanted to post a couple things here.
First of all, hostit365 has a good set of services for $10 a month. Fits in with what I want more or less. Just wondering what peoples feeling is on this company? Good support etc. for the price?
Secondly, I noticed Versehost.com, nice set of features for even less. This brings up the question of how good the support is so does anyone have experience with these guys?
Now in terms of what I want I'm looking for the following for probably about $10 US (I'm in Canada for any canadian hosts here).
- 100 megs of space
- 1 gig of bandwidth, but more is nice, but won't probably use much more than 1 or 2 gigs.
- POP3 email, a few would be nice but I don't need a ton.
- Email Aliase, More is better.
- Control Panel, most have it anyways but i figured it would mention it
- mysql/php plus the usual offering CGI etc. Database costs aren't a problem, assuming it's a buck or two for a database.
- shared domain hosting. Possible multiple domain hosting support would be nice, but more than 1 gig of bandwidth would be needed. (say 5 gigs max)
- sub domains, atleast 2 but anything more is great if offered
- allows use of forums, UBB/vBulletin etc.
That's more or less it. If I can get a well rounded host with some decent support for $10 bucks give or take a couple dollars I'm happy. Of course a proven record would be nice, ie. others here at WHT who can reccommend anyone is a huge help.
