I'm willing to give a shot at doing 5 free logos to the first 5 people to experiment a bit and if all turns out well, fill out a small portfolio. If you are interested in my attempts, post a reply here with how you want the logo and an e-mail to contact you if and when the logo is done. first 5 replyes will be tried, but no gurantees (since its free and I am busy doing other things also :) ).

I would like a white&blue logo, and it doesn't have to fit in our current design, we're gonna change it anyway, and I guess our new design will be more...white and blue.
It can be something like 'HostingGroup' or 'THG', thats fine.

How are the logos going?

Sorry, I've been in a vacation so I havent started them yet. I will start soon.

How is it going? I haven't seen anything yet and I was wondering if we are still getting the logo.

Im working on it along with some other more important things, so it will take time.
I have a lot of course works to do, so its a bit delayed. Ill do my best, sorry if it dissapoints you that it might take some time.
As I said, its for free and its for experimenting, so dont count on it to represent your company. :(

I'm just someone who wanted to see if people are interested in free logos so I can experiment a bit. I'm not a design company and i'm not getting paid, and I mentioned that I dont gurantee the logos will be made fast or will be made at all because I am busy.
What I mean is dont count on me to produce a logo if you dont have one, but if you dont care that I try along with some company you paid for, or if you already have a logo and you could use a new one (but its not neccesary) then go ahead.
But dont look at me as your saviour.

So why dont you just make five logos then...

you can make the names up...you can then experiment as much as you like...in your own time with absolutely no pressure.

I just said I am currently busy doing other things, and I will do them when I get some time.
I already gave an attempt for 2 logos, but they didnt please me. I will try more later when I get the time, but right now I have alot of math and physics coursework, and I am also busy doing other things.

Sounds to me like you were pulling our legs. I was prepared to pay for a good design even though you offered it for free. Too late you lose. I wasn't looking for you to be a "saviour".... I was just looking for you to deliver what you offered.... and if I liked it then I'd send you some $$$.

My suggestion is... don't make offers that you can't fullfill.

Listen, he is offering to make FREE logos, no one should complain, even if he hands you a simple, hideously ugly, black and white logo (which I'm sure he wouldn't since his web templates re quite nice). These are, let me spell it out, F-R-E-E as in you're lucky to get anything at all, EVER. I know this is none of my business but I hate to see people getting upset because their FREE LOGO wasn't delivered posthaste. Thanks.

No big deal.... even the ones that I have paid for recently were not professional quality.

I thought I might just get lucky and if it was good then I was going to pay for it anyway .... and possibly buy more.

But the quality is not the problem here. The problem was the lackadaisical attitude after he offerred....

I admit my attitude was rather lackadaisical but there is a reason for that. I offered those logos with expectations I would be able to make them, and I bited more than I can chew. Right after that I got an English Coursework, a math coursework and a literature coursework landed on me.
While I still have time to boast around the forums and sell some templates I had already made (I still have one I will try selling when I get my right to post in related requests again) I can't find time to invest in logos I offered for free.

If you are asking me if it's the last in my priorities between paid templates, coursework, preperations for passover and all, then yes, it's the last of my priorities. Don't tell me that you, under pressure, would've dealt your jobs in a different priority.
Now believe me I didn't offer those logos just because I wanted to play with you. I did want to make those logos, and perhaps I will when I get some real free time during passover vacation. It was supposed to be benefitial for me, for the creation of a logo portfolio, and for you, for getting a nice logo if all turns out well.

But don't get crazy on me. I didn't promise the world so don't ask for the world. I wasn't rude during the entire time and I did my best to try making at least 2 of the logos but time cought me and I finished neither. If anyone got upset because of no-logos recieved, then so be it, this is the least of critics I am willing to accept when I have so much duties in school and around the house I have to take on myself, and yes, this is the least important of them all.

Sorry to fail you guys (and gals) in the meanwhile, perhaps I'll get to do them later, but I am busy enough already in the next week or two.

To Byte: I can't handle 5 logos, hard to believe I will handle 6 ;)

To those wondering about those templates for sale: These are templates I had already made (And still have some) I am selling once in a few days, when I can post a new thread again. These are attempts to save some money while under all this pressure.

Thanks for coming clean! I appreciate that. And yes, I would choose paying customers over non-paying everyday of everyweek.
