I'm working on a site for a client that will at first require only 5gb transfers/month & 100gb of storage space. Eventually we will be up to 25 or 30gb transfers/month & 500mb storage.

The site will serve as offsite archive & remote access to several webcams being used for security survailance. Only one person will ever be viewing the site at any time, but each of the 5 stores will have 2 cams sending about 3.9gb in jpgs each month. There will be an almost constant stream of ftp transfers to the site, eventually from multiple locations.

It has been suggested to me that a dedicated server might be the way to go. I'd like to avoid that if possible. Does anyone have any good experiences with hosts such as xstreamhosting.com or any others which offer a $40-$60/month package that allows for such large bandwidth requirements?

Thanks for all suggestions.

I've been with www.phenominet.com ($10/month 30gigs) for 6 months now and they've been great. The two things you should know though - cogent bandwidth - and somewhat restricted use of cgi. Also note that although its cheap bandwidth, I've had 100% uptime since I started monitoring it (internetseer.com) :)
