Which is better for a webhosting service?
I currently run a free webhost on a rackshack server with Plesk and 200 domains license

I find it really annoying that plesk treats subdomains as domains (not only because of the license)

Is ensim any better?
I originaly got plesk because a friend who also has a server on rackshack reccomended it
But i really dont like they way it works :(

I need to be able to signup customers automaticaly using a script for domain hosting, wildcards would be good to
Plesk doesnt like me changing the httpd.include file and will erase my changes

Has anyone here got Ensim and think it is better for this?

H-Sphere is nice in this aspect, and in many others.

If I only had a choice between the two though I would choose Ensim over Plesk, due to Plesk being too simple and limited for my needs.

Without a doubt, Ensim is more stable and easier for the user to use once installed.

I tried a bunch, although Ensim uses subdomains as a site license also, it is better for the money, and less expensive if I am not mistaken.

This discussion happens here at least once a week. You should do a search, and I'm sure you will find plenty of comments.

That being said, there is no one control panel that is better than the other. They all have their good points and bad. What it ultimately boils down to, is what do you want out of your control panel. Come people want it to do everything under the sun. Others just want a simple way to handle their daily management routines.

I'd suggest reading up on each and testing them with their online demo's. Otherwise, you are just getting opinions, and you know what they say about opinions..
