Guys,

Any body knows any good banking services which offers Money Market funds on a monthly basis like Paypal, one thing weird I've deposit $2K, and Today when I've check my Paypal account it says I've gotten only $2.43 as Dividend , My yield rate is 2.41% so why its only $2? I dont really understand that.

I think it should be $48.2 ?

Is there any one who can elaborate this or advise me of some other company who can offer me some every month like how Paypal has to offer.

Thanks

That 2.41% is the APY (annual percentage yeild)
Which means you get 2.41% over a YEAR!
So that $48.2 of interest is spread over 12 months, which is why you got $2.43 (you must have put it in not for the full month).

Hope this clears things up.

so Paypal pays every year not every month ? and what you mean by (you must have put it in not for the full month).

Thanks

PayPal pays dividends monthly, but the 2.41% is spread out over the course of the year. For your $2K you'll get the $48.20 per year, with the dividends (1/12) paid each month.

It looks like you didn't have the 2K in the account for the full month's period so you got a prorated payout, $2.43 v $4.02 for a full month.
