That car is only 60 Horse Power  This is not the best way to do the poll. As you know higher horse power will have lower mileage... You should probably ask what the mileage*(horse power) of the car. In your case, you have 3600 miles-bhp/gallon, and my car has 4500 miles-bhp/gallon. Hm ... mine has better mileage, taken into account the higher horse power.

cheers,

oh man, ask kunal.

Not the numbers I use:

1 mile = 1.6093 kilometer(s)

See: http://www.newwaybearings.com/pages2000/conversions/conversions.html

Or for people without calculators:

1 mile is NOT 1.8km, more like 1.6.

Hmmm ... it looks like there should be a poll "how much does gas cost?"

I pay Canadian $0.589/litre = US $0.372/litre

Funny cause when we were in England over the summer, we were paying 79.9p/litre = $1.80/litre Canadian !!!!

1650 IDR/liter here, that's about 0.165 USD/liter. Do the conversion yourselves :).

I get about 26 mpg in-town, 38 mpg highway in my 5-speed shiny red '97 Dodge Neon. Fuel runs $1.16/gallon (with ethanol of course: "Roses are red, Violets are blue, Cows eat corn, Cars can too. Ethanol.") But my car's performance is currently altered by the 1/2 inch coating of ice we got yesterday...

[That's 11 km/L city, 16 km/L highway, at US $0.31/Liter.]

Mester

lol Today driving to town at 110km/h I was getting ~40mpg which is amazing for the van.

Cause : extreme winds (we have a warning for winds up to 150km/h)

1996 Ford Explorer (V6) -- 15 mpg city / 20 mpg highway

I just bought it :D (as opposed to the 4-year lease that just expired) she has 83,000 miles but rides likea dream. I was going to get a regular car (like a Camry) but then last night as I drove for 3 hours thru the ice storm I was reminded why I love my 4-wheel-drive Explorer so much.

:D Yes I got home safe and sound, although the poor thing looks rather... cold.
