I would like to starting a web hosting business, what should I have to know and How can I start?

Well if your seriously interested in the buisness, I would suggest working part-time for a current hosting company to get the idea of what it takes to do support. So you know basic answers, etc. Secondly, you will need a large sum of money to start a suffiecient webhosting company. You will need money for the design, (unless u can design it), money for advertising, etc. etc. If I was you, I would use the search feature, and just read numerous articles from others with tips and advice. That's what I did to say the least. It will require a bunch of time, and all around, its hard work.

Web Hosting isn't a easy field, and by all means is very competitive.

Spend a lot of time reading threads here on WHT, it is an amazing wealth of knowledge.

Start with a business plan, even if it is sketchy.
A server/template/merchant account will not cut it.

If you are serious, then take the serious route.
Research, define your niche market.
