yup, exactly. They are all hiding sitting back watching us all speculate over whether this is really April fools or not now. Those of us that do fall for it well need to look at the date and think well if it is not april fools then why didn't it happen a day or two ago (when I saw the first white page for newreply which was an obvious sign something was being toyed with), no wht mods this one won't slip past most of us. :)

/me points at how everyone's titles are still the same, that and how our post counts are all at 0 (obviously being masked and actual post count is going as normal). Definitely a nice April Fools joke though. Great job WHT mods - as it appears a few have fallen for it. Also everyone notice how the mods are using hidden mode, no doubt enjoying the pointing and laughing to those who have fallen for the prank.

I would think we all certainly hope that was not the case no matter if we have servers there or not. (obviously I doubt anyone would think that a good april fools joke especially the tp management staff).

David, I would have to agree it is definitely going to be at least the 30 page mark, leaning towards close to 45-50 myself.

Personally I think they should have redirected to another smaller forum for a day. Sure they'd lose all the traffic, but would a day really kill them? Maybe put up a small notice such as "iNET Interactive has sold WHT to such and such, you will be redirected in 5 ... 4... 3 .. etc. etc."

It probably would have been a bit more believable.

Not to mention two-fold. They'd have us all over here having heart attacks for WHT being sold, and they'd have whoever else over there having heart attacks out of pure happiness for all the traffic, only to have it snatched away a day later.

Lately I have lost a lot of time of my life playing with a Web Hoster that did not know the trade. People that offered services but did not deliver. They did not have the know-how so they blamed others for their incompetence. Blaming the WWW Network, ATT or the Local ISP.

So I don't like wasting more time. Reading foolish titles for Forums and so on.

We can only speculate on a person's reasons for hacking such an excellent community. The good thing is that we have excellent people at iNet such as ProHacker that can fix these problems when need be. Kudos to iNet for such quick resolutions to hacking issues.

LOL people, there is NOTHING wrong. WHT hasn't been hacked. Every year on April Fool's Day, something is messed with. PMs are safe, as are your post counts. Everything will return to normal on the 2nd. :)

My guess is that the mods were referring to the CNN article about this topic when they changed the name.

Alot of people are missing the logic train today.

Yes the forums are hacked by awful hackers. They changed the forum names and made our post counts 0. Those damn hackers, how dare they.

If you read the thread... Just an April fools joke. The staff changed everyones post count to 0, changed a few user titles, and renamed the forums a bit.
