My provider had an outage earlier today and I came to WHT to check to see if there was an outage thread with details. I checked the "Advertising Forums" section to see if there was anything in the "Industry Announcements > Providers and Network Outages and Updates " and I could not see it. I then checked the Dedicated Forum to see if I could see anything in there. I seen a post from someone who asked if there was an outage and a reply from a mod saying check the Outage Forum. Hmmm, I got to thinking and noticed that I was not logged in. I then logged in and was able to see the Outage Forum.

My question is why is this section hidden from users that are not logged in?

I noticed the same thing a few weeks back, actually. It's probably done to get people TO login to view those specific forums, or, it could be an honest mistake on the part of the mods that hasn't yet been brought to their attention.

Blame it on the mouse, it's always the mouse that gets in and chews at the wires and causes things to go funny :)
