Hello,

Need to register a domain name for a medium sized distribution company.

Im thinking of going with namecheap.com but also considering godaddy, except for the bad reviews I've read about recently.

Should this influence my decision?

Alternative proposals to domain registrars are welcome. Please suggest.

Also considering enom, but they seem to be a little more expensive.

Regards,
Kriz

company size never mattered, just look into decent registrar and get your domain from.

Im thinking of going with namecheap.com but really considering going with godaddy because it is affiliated with ICANN.

Should an ICANN accredited registrar matter, make a big difference? If so to what extent?

Namecheap is not ICANN accredited, should I be in doubt in any way, maybe in the future?

PS. I need a registrar who will reliable in the long run, several years. In this case, I think of Enom. However is namecheap a suitable candidate for this solution?

namecheap is enom reseller so should be fine if the whois info is yours where incase namecheap has something wrong you can always seek help from enom.

icann accreditation not always an addon, for example some icann accredited registrars runs by single individual while some resellers runs by tens of ppl.
