SmsMasters is a mobile phone based portal, primarily catering for the UK audience. It has been running since June 2002.

How much is its value in your opinion?

I think this should be in the Appraisals Forum. Nevertheless, i think this costs 500$ or maybe more.

1. What's the nature of the portal? I see it's not custom, but how heavily is it modified?

2. What's your traffic like?

3. How much revenue does the site bring in currently? What is the site's revenue history, and what projections can you make for future earnings?

4. What demographic information do you have concerning your audience, if any? Age, geographic hotspots, discretionary spending ability, etc.?

5. What kind of time commitment has gone into producing and maintaining the portal? How much compensation would you expect for the work you've done?

These are just a few questions that should be covered when trying to determine a fair price. There are plenty more, but that's a start. It might be the site is worth tens of thousands of dollars. It might be that it's worth the cost to renew the domain name. More info would be very helpful!
