View Full Version : Cpanel3 ?
Noyz319 12-17-2000, 05:21 AM I've been looking for a new host for a few weeks now and have yet to find the right one, but one thing i discovered that i really love is the Cpanel 3 control pannel. If anybody knows of any hosts that use Cpanel 3, please let me know. I've found a few, but none that meet the other requirements i'm looking for.
What i need is at least 10 GB transfer and 300 MB storage. And for around $20 per month.
Most VDI-based hosts use CPanel3 now. However, not many hosts offer 300 mbs and 10 GIGs....
Which hosts have you looked at? Would they include....

http://www.wizardshosting.com
http://www.unitedtec.net
http://www.site5.com ?
UNIXIELHOST 12-17-2000, 02:45 PM BC,
One VDI Based host can offer 500MB and 30GB bandwidth and it's for real, check them at:
http://www.liquidweb.com/
That's all I can know at this time
Thank you
Fiber 12-17-2000, 03:11 PM They site looks like Site5.com
But, still man...if they can offer that...hmm...makes me wonder.
Noyz319 12-17-2000, 03:47 PM Both liquidweb and Site5 look perfect, they have everything i need and both have 30 day money back guarantees. Has anybody had any experiences with either of these companies before?
Fiber 12-17-2000, 03:48 PM I am with Site5. They used to have downtime problems, but I forgot the last time they had one. Seems to be fine now.
Joseph,
Thanks for the correction - I forgot about LiquidWeb.
i'm with site5 and am quite pleased. lol, liquidweb does look similar to site5. could it be a frontpage template or something?
CRego3D 12-18-2000, 02:09 PM Humm
I'm a designer myself .. Liquidweb doesn't look anything like site5.com guys :)
They might have the same "feel" to it, but not the same "look" ;)

Naw, I know Site5 wouldn't use a frontpage template :)
There is nothing that good in frontpage
To answer your question Noyz319, I've only heard good thing s about site5 and liquidweb.
Matt Lightner 12-18-2000, 10:50 PM No, it's not a FrontPage template. Actually, we designed a portion of Liquidwebs new website... thus the similarities between them. :)

wajones 12-22-2000, 02:30 PM Why does Site5 IPBlock belong to LiquidWeb is Site5 owned by LiquidWeb ?
Noyz319 12-22-2000, 03:12 PM Well i decided to sign up with site 5, setup was really fast and everything seems to be running smoothly so far.
Matt Lightner 12-22-2000, 03:27 PM One of our IP blocks does belong to Liquidweb... we have been meaning to get that changed for a while now.
A few months back, VDI had an extreme shortage of IP addresses. Liquidweb was kind enough to give us one of their Class-C's. Fortunately, the only block which is assigned to LW is 216.10.8.x. If you want to take a look and make sure I'm telling the truth, try looking up 216.74.68.x. You will see that these IP's are assigned to Site5.
BTW... Noyz319, we're pleased to hear that you've chosen Site5. We're looking forward to providing you with exceptional service. ;)
