Hello, I need a little help here you see I have sendmail installed and I can send emails to other users on the server but I'm unable to send or receive emails from or too other servers. This is not good. Any pointers?

Also I type hostname at the command shell and it shows lets say: mine.server.com

I then type hostname super.server.com to change it from mine.server.com to super.server.com and it works the hostname is changed to super.server.com

however when I do a reboot the hostname changes back to mine.server.com. Any pointers would be good on this one too, Thanks

And yes I am still thinking that sendmail sucks, but I really need it?

I tried to answer your host name question in the thread that you opened specifically for it. You might provide more information, if I guessed wrong.

Well I'm thinking the problem is in here -- Sendmail.mc under DAEMON_OPTIONS but then again I'm no Sendmail master
