Hey guys, I was wondering if you had any ideas of what's the best way to spread a forum over the internet if I made one. I'm thinking of making lot's of topics on music but don't know how people would notice it and be encouraged to register? Also, should I buy a .com domain and maybe that would help? Is their any web hosts out there that support forum (eg) phpBB files. So you can upload FTP with no charge? Thanks in advance.

maybe doing Ads here and there, banners, google adsense, word of a mouth, etc..

get couple of posters maybe you and post good news to attract people , if you're a member in a forum with high post count maybe use your signature etc..

many ideas :)

everybody is already sick of standard forums.... another one :/ uh oh

try to offer any service. Ex. hosting. Keep it in perfect stage few months... and then start server crashes. Or make webmail nonworking. :) You'll see - 500 posts/day guaranteed. :D

(oh, at first you have to tell your costumers, what first class support is at your forum :D )
Kidding.

We went throw that... actualy it works... now having >6200 posts
(lough throw tears)
