First off, thanks for being patient with a newbie. Forgive me in advance if this post is in the wrong place.

I'm in dire straits. I was dumb enough to host with go2search (before that hostonce - boy I sure can pick'em!)

I am the webmaster of a fan site (NOT anime).

My site so far is not that large.

As of my latest backup, it is only 8Mb hard disk space.

Here are my raw user logs for my site as of today (again, I'm still new at this):

Data Transfer

The data transfer usage for your account for the current month is shown below.

Data Transfer Allowance Unlimited
Web Site Data Transfer 298.02 MB
Email Data Transfer 435.02 KB
FTP Data Transfer 7.76 MB
Total Data Transfer 306.21 MB
Projected Total Data Transfer 1583.10 MB

Here's what I'm looking for:

200 Mb storage space (of course more is OK)
5 - 10g bandwidth (my site is growing, so I'm planning ahead)
SSI (configured so that I can include PHP calls within an SHTML file - that would be IDEA)
SSH (or Telnet - makes handling mysql easier for me since I'm porting existing database tables); I'm willing to pay a separate fee if necessary for this feature
PHP, Perl, etc. Latest version of PHP is especially desired.
MySQL database (preferably 2 or more, but that's not a dealbreaker for me). I REFUSE TO CONSIDER ANY HOSTS RUNNING PHP/MYSQL IN SAFE MODE!
Private CGI bin
FTP access to account (duh!)
second or third level domain support (part.ofmysite.com) - once again excuse my newbie terminology. This is not a dealbreaker, but would be a nice feature.
UNIX/Linux is a must!
PhP/MySQL-based message boards MUST be allowed. This is an absolute requirement.
Customer service that actually responds. I'm pretty good on my own, and don't need help every second. I just want my emails answered in a timely fashion.

Oh, and I need to have my site moved WITHIN SIX DAYS before go2hell deletes it.

My budget is very modest - I'm looking to spend around $10.00/month, plus or minus a couple of bucks.

If you have a monthly/annual deals, please state BOTH prices clearly. Don't just give me the low-end annual subscription monthly price. Sorry, but I'm just not ready to commit yearly to anyone at this point sight unseen.

Any recommendations from fellow webmasters as to good hosts in this price range would be GREATLY appreciated.

Once again, I am seriously in need of immediate responses.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Regards,
Brat.

Check out the basic plan at hostculture.com. I'm using it and it should suit you fine (I'm not sure if they support SSI?).

You should get lots of offers if you post your requirements in the request forum here at WHT.

On top of being a newbie, I'm blind.

Where is the request forum? Point me to it PRONTO! :D

Thanks!

BTW, took a look at hostculture. Also did a little research here in the forums. So far, it looks like a definite contender!

Brat.

I don't think you'll have too much trouble finding a good host with those stats. Very modest site requirements and you don't seem too greedy pricewise :) A little low for our plans, but there's a lot of hosts here that you'll fall into their ranges nicely.
