I have a .ca (Canada) domain name and have gotten reports from several people that they can't reach the site, they get a "this page can't be accessed" message. This has apparently been happening for weeks. I can reach it no problem, and I've checked with others who can as well. I've no clue what's going on. Could this be a domain name issue, or with the hosting, or what?

Thanks.

What is the domain name so we can test it here? Also, does it happen on domain.com and www.domain.com ? Possible its not setup properly to accept www. Would be able to test this if you post it.

Thanks :)

Where was the domain registered?

The set-up at the web host seems to be ok. I can reach the site, with or without the w w w.

It's lindxxxsayxxxfarmersxxxmarket....ca (take out the x's -- my paranoia about search engines, don't ask).

Is there any scenario where some people can't find a site, others can? If it was one person only, I'd think it was something only on their end, like, on their computer. But I talked to one woman today, and while on the phone, she tried with IE and Netscape and couldn't reach it, while I could. She wasn't having problems with going anywhere else. I also substituted a text-only index.html page for the index.php, in case it had something to with the CMS software, and she couldn't get that. So it's like the domain name itself wasn't resolving for her. And she'd heard from others having the same problem...which is what makes it weird.

How long has the site been up? DNS could take a while to queue up for everyone.

Just a question:

When did you purchased the domain/ your hosting account has been setup?

When did you last updated your nameserver info ?

The site has been up for a year now, the DN registered for the first time a year ago, and I haven't made changes since then. So it's not the usual DNS propagation lag time thing.

check it from www.dnsreport.com and see what warning/notices it gives you.
