Anyone care to share thier experience of a good SEO service. LevelServe Admin 03-30-2005, 09:02 PM SeoINC is good but very expensive.Seo-Guy.com is for hire too .. Great prices also... GopherDesign 04-03-2005, 05:54 PM yourself by hand I find the best. SaveBigHosting 04-03-2005, 06:02 PM YUP go for www.promoting2.com very experienced and good service :) GopherDesign 04-03-2005, 11:09 PM I dont see how promoting2 is good. A promototion site with a PR0? They also have 0 people linking to them? Have you used them? What did they do? I would love to find a good SEO too. That also has spelling mistakes all over the site, it isn't indexed anywhere... it looks like the people here are trying to promote their own web site... shameful. On the other hand, there is no such thing as a 'SEO service' - no SEO company has a special relationship with any search engines or indexes... all they will do is stick alt tags on all your images, help with your keywords and submit your site where ever possible, if you can't do this yourself, paying someone $2000 to do it for you seems ok? the_pm 04-03-2005, 11:31 PM Done right, that's not all they'll do at all! SEO companies earn their keep doing competitive research specific to their clients and keeping abreast of the many changes to SE listing/ranking algorithms, techniques, rules and trends, big and small. There's a lot someone can do by him or herself, but optimizing a site with alt text, heading tags, etc. is only one part of the equation. The big question is whether the efforts of an SEO specialist will pay for themselves over whatever course of time you both decide is fair to judge. A $2000 investment in a someone to give your site greater visibility than you could have done on your own might be very, very worthwhile. It might also be a waste of money, but SEO is a bit like advertising in general. It's a calculated risk taken with much advising and no guarantees. But if you want 100% guarantees in life, don't bother going into business for yourself in the first place ;) Entrepeneurialism is all about calculated risks. Pleas PM me for his contact information. the_pm 04-04-2005, 04:58 PM Originally posted by AHDOnline-James The guy I know and use doesn't have a site up he is that good... E-mail << Edited to discourage spamming >>. Tell him James Rennard sent you... That's a rather discouraging endorsement on many levels. Can you give a little more information, such as sites he's optimized, etc., perhaps even a name to reference? Posting his email address in a public forum that gets indexed and ranked practically every two minutes is a great way to attract spambots to your man's email address. It happens all the time. I've heard stories of people discontinuing email addresses just days after posting them on here. That's not good for business :( AHDOnline-James 04-04-2005, 05:02 PM Ahh, he can handle it. He's got Yahoo! anyways, right? His name is TJ and he has done quite a few sites for me that have worked out well. He does more than "SEO" he performs marketting, strutcured backlinking, affiliates, placement, a lot of stuff. He is very knowledgable. You are right about the address though, I'll edit that. If any one is interested please PM me. --Any chance you can edit yours to remove that e-mail address in the quote? Thanks -- |
