K, does anyone have any clue where the pkg file from pkgmaster.com installs the php to?
with a phpinfo.php im able to locate the php.ini but that does me no good, I need to/would like to recompile this installation to enable --with-ftp but cant seem to locate the location of where to run the ./configure command and the make and make install etc.. any ideas?? Mouse

You need to install PHP source rpm. It is available at the pkgmaster ftp site. Get it here: ftp://pkgmaster.com/pub/SRPMS/raq4/php-4.1.2-PM1.src.rpm

I just compiled 4.1.2 from source yesterday without issues...including ftp. But I don't use the pkgmaster webalizer...I use the cobalt-aid. I would recomend compiling from source...

Did you have to do anything special. I keep running into problems with -lcrypto.
