The Union Datacom Corporation is now seeking a (Technical) Sales Engineer. The position will be open at our Downtown Dallas office, with little out-of-town travel required. Applicant must have a preexisting sales experience, with basic knowledge of Business Broadband and Dedicated Web Hosting. This is an in-house position that includes an office with a view, no tele-workers please. Base pay is $35,000.00 with expected commissions of at least $40,000.00 annually ($75K Total) + Bonuses. We sell IP Bandwidth, Metro Ethernet, T1s, DS3s, and Wireless connectivity, all offering exceptional commission rates. Due to the fact we own our own network and datacenter; our margins are well above average industry numbers.
At least 30 days of on-the-job training will be required.
Our main offices are located at 2323 Bryan Street in Downtown Dallas, traffic can be absolute hell during rush hour, therefore usual work hours are 10AM-7PM, although these can be adjusted on the individual basis. Parking can be upwards of $150.00 a month downtown, all employees that are still employees after 30 days will receive paid indoor parking. Alternatively there is a DART railway within easy walking distance of the building. Some weekend work may be required.
Perquisites of 4-Years College required unless you have exceptional industry experience, and/or additional Technical Certifications. (i.e. Cisco, Microsoft, etc.). Any combination of experience and college may be considered.

Experience in Carrier Sales
Previous Employment with Competitors :)
Musts:
Must be a Team Player
Must be able to function in a “Getting things done environment”
(We do not pay employees merely for “Attendance”)

Employees must have excellent communication skills
(i.e. with company employees, executives, and clients)
Must be fully computer literate (i.e. MS Office, WinXP, AV, LAN)
(We do not have time to provide technical support for employees)
