Whats the best program to make good banners with? :)

I use fireworks. I believe tucows.com has a lot of them :)

Personally I use Paint Shop Pro.. I find it alot easier than PhotoShop.. Plus ALOT cheaper.. It is very flexible and I have not found anything that is has not been able to do.. Thats what I use for all my banners.

I like paint shop pro as well cause of it's simplicity, but sometimes the colors don't match the Hex system so I have to photo shop to make the colors match.

Photoshop, if you can afford it, is much better at compressing gifs than paint shop pro.

I am also a big fan of photoshop. Used with fireworks it is even better. Prefer fireworks to Image Ready, but thats probably because I was using it before I got photoshop.

i have all of them programs menioned but i cant do any effects like a simple fade in


i forgt to mention that these banners are animated...duh!

Photoshop with Imageready. the absolute best combo in the biz.

Not only can I put out banners in no time, I can also put out whole sites just using Photoshop and Imageready, no HTML editor.:D
