I am trying to figure out which dual board to buy

I am looking at the tyan 2505t

It must support ide.

Not really concerned about raid, because we are using a 3ware raid card.

Also must fit 2u case

Thanks for the help

Joe

Yes it will fit a 2u case.

It supports IDE incase you do not like the Promise Raid.

It is a pretty good entry level server board. But watch out.....
you can only dump in 1.5gig of pc-133 ram or 2 gig of pc-100 ram.
It supports ECC.

I use the 2505t and love em, also the tyan 2518GNR I think it is, for the serverworks chipset.

Both very nice boards...

Anyone know of a cheaper board for single CPU, for both AMD and Intel that supports more then 512MB ram, AND HAS ONBOARD LAN AND VIDEO to go in a 1U case?

We run both Windoze and Linux/BSD on these boards.

Thanks,
Tom
