Hi,

I'm leasing this from the planet, but it's not a good match for me. I haven't looked into transfer costs, or if the Virtuozzo lincences can be removed yet, but thought I'd see if there was any intrest. You'd basicly just be saving the $199 setup

Total Control P2800sr5: Dual Xeon 2.8 GHz : $349/month - $199 setup
PROC: Second Xeon Processor: $0/month - $0 setup
HDD: 73 GB SCSI: $0/month - $0 setup

*Upgrade to 26 IP Addresses: $16/month - $0 setup
2000 GB Bandwidth : $0/month - $0 setup
100 Mbps Uplink: $0/month - $0 setup
Network Backup: 40GB: $0/month - $0 setup

Hi Eric,

I've been thinking of purchasing this same server from the planet. I was wondering why it wasn't a good fit for you?

Teresa,

My problem was with disk access times. I don't think it had anything to do with thier particular server, just that RAID 5 is not good at handeling lots of small files. In my case I have aboout 300,000 15k files, so it was overly exacerbated.

This server is still available if your interested, Paid till May 1st I think.

Best regards,

Eric
