Alot of them you need to get permission for but I belive all of the "Powered By:" logos are free to use. There is a rant on here somewhere on here about people using these images without permission. Just do a search for it. Some say you need permission but I have never heard of anyone getting in trouble for this.. If anything you are promoting the program and offering it.. I cant imagine Red Hat getting pissed because you are using a "Powered By Red hat" Logo on your site.. if anything it is good promotion for them..

Hehe, that would probably be my pet peeve rant. I'm over it now. :)

FYI: The thread quickly turns into a qmail discussion (er, flame fest) between cperciva and myself, but a lot of the links to the images that you'll need are on there.
I never did find a cobalt logo that people were allowed to use for free. But maybe it comes with the RAQ, and is mentioned in their documentation?
look for any press release or press kits on their site - those include logo's that they normally wouldn't mind you using. Most free orginizations like apache and php won't mind you using their logos as it simply supports them.
