Any reason why you specifically want reseller hosting from the planet dc? They're reliable yes but there is lots of places where other good reseller providers use that provide just as good of quality.

Is there a small or BIG reason why you are looking for resellers under "The Planet" DC?

I'm just really curious of the reason you might be wanting that.

Please do enlighten me on this... This is really interesting. I've never heard someone wanting to be a reseller from a specific DC before... kinda my 1st, I guess.

I've had request to have local and overseas hosting/resellers before but from specific DC's seems to be a rare thing :)

Hope you can tell us why... Thanx and good luck...

I can't understand why you need The Planet but companies like HostingZoom, Hostgator and many many others have servers there.

The Planet is a good DC but it really depends on who is running the show... by that I mean the reseller.

Anyway, good luck with your search...

theplanet is an outstanding DC - I can completely understand why someone would look for a provider there...

ACcomunica makes an excellent pont - the DC is only part of the equation - however, if you find the right provider, and the right DC - then youve really got a winning combination...

Its not that rare, I see it all of the time that someone requests a specific datacenter. Find a host you like, and then go to http://whois.sc and type in their address, and it will show you what datacenter it is at.

It is worth pointing out that many providers will have servers in different data centers. Therefore, you would probably be best to contact the provider directly to see if they have servers at The Planet :)

Rochen has made a very good point, many companies will have servers at different datacenters so yeah it is better to contact them.
There is lots of hosts at the planet dc, check out the offers section theres a handful there, or just email a company that you seem to like and ask them where there servers are.
Before choosing a host look for reviews have a sniff around WHT for any good or bad comments.
Good luck with finding what you need!

I think he's referring to reseller web hosting providers, not certified dedicated server resellers.

After reading your post, I "re-read" the poster's message again,... I think you are right,.. he may not be looking for dedicated server....

reseller shared hosting in The Planet,.. will that be at least 1000 of them???

I use Citadelhost for more than a year now.
Their uptime and support is good enough for me.

The Planet's own website is located at what I believe is loosley described as Dallas2, DIYHosting's facilities are in Dallas4, just hoping these website problems aren't the start of something bigger (I'm sure they're not)

Consider yourself lucky as our servers were down approx. 3 1/2 hrs. this morning. Here's the thread (http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=390336) (all 91+ pages of them)...

I use hostgator.com and unifiednet.net

They both use The Planet and are both excellent reseller web hosts.

My uptime for the year is 100%.

I love boasting that to my customers. :)
